Trump: ‘I Have Been Much Tougher on Russia Than Obama, Total Fake News!’

Milking that executive time for all its worth.
President Donald Trump has been tweeting more than usual over the past few days, as he attacked Barack Obama yesterday by blaming him for Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election. That apparently wasn’t enough for him, though. Here’s his latest presidential proclamation:
I have been much tougher on Russia than Obama, just look at the facts. Total Fake News!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 20, 2018
The “facts” being referred to by Trump came from Fox & Friends — which spent a good portion of today’s show painting the president as a champion who stands up to Vladimir Putin. The hosts on the curvy couch trashed Trump’s predecessor for not doing more to oppose the Kremlin, and they harped over some remarks Obama gave in which he scolded Trump for threatening to refuse the 2016 election results in the event that he lost.
Here’s what Trump tweeted earlier today:
Thank you to @foxandfriends for the great timeline on all of the failures the Obama Administration had against Russia, including Crimea, Syria and so much more. We are now starting to win again!

“There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections, there’s no evidence that that has happened in the past or that it will happen this time, and so I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and make his case to get votes.” …..

….The President Obama quote just before election. That’s because he thought Crooked Hillary was going to win and he didn’t want to “rock the boat.” When I easily won the Electoral College, the whole game changed and the Russian excuse became the narrative of the Dems.

Trump has been attacking a number of his enemies on Twitter lately, yet the world is still waiting on the tweet where he expressly condemns the 13 Russian nationals Robert Mueller indicted for their interference with the 2016 election.
