Trump Is Reportedly Worried About Don Jr. Potentially Being in ‘Legal Jeopardy’

President Donald Trump is both publicly and privately fuming about the Mueller probe and the people he’s worried it could end up ensnaring––Don Jr. in particular.
A new report from The Washington Post gives some insight into the President’s state of mind on all things Robert Mueller, and it would appear he is at least calmed on the idea that Mueller has anything on him specifically (thanks to apparent reassurances from Rudy Giuliani).
However, Trump is worried about the people whose lives could be destroyed as a result of the probe, and that’s where his own son comes in:
Still, Trump has confided to friends and advisers that he is worried the Mueller probe could destroy the lives of what he calls “innocent and decent people” — namely Trump Jr., who is under scrutiny by Mueller for his role organizing a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with Russians promising dirt on Hillary Clinton. As one adviser described the president’s thinking, he does not believe his son purposefully broke the law, but is fearful nonetheless that Trump Jr. inadvertently may have wandered into legal jeopardy.
Trump has also apparently said he “feels badly” for Paul Manafort even as he keeps saying his former campaign chairman has nothing to do with him.
Looking back on history, who was treated worse, Alfonse Capone, legendary mob boss, killer and “Public Enemy Number One,” or Paul Manafort, political operative & Reagan/Dole darling, now serving solitary confinement – although convicted of nothing? Where is the Russian Collusion?
