Trump on Future Debates: ‘Maybe Every Moderator Should Show That They Vote Republican’

Donald Trump threw out the idea today that future Republican debate moderators should have to show that they vote Republican.

A rally goer at a Trump campaign event in Nevada today asked why they can’t get rid of future debate moderators. A big consensus today is that CNBC came out of yesterday’s debate looking really bad.

Trump today said, “These moderators, they’re not big Republican voters… we’re having a Republican debate. Maybe every moderator should show that they vote Republican.”

After all, he asked, “why should we have these people that hate everything we stand for?”
