Twitter Blows Up Over Democratic Senators Turning on Franken: ‘Say Goodbye’
The dam is breaking. After a seventh woman came out today to accuse Senator Al Franken of sexual misconduct, at least 10 of his Democratic colleagues (so far) have called on him to resign.
The reactions on Twitter have been mixed, ranging from cynicism over the timing to invocations of Roy Moore:
Let’s be honest: it’s a complete joke how coordinated all these female Democratic Senators are in only NOW (after victim #7) calling for Franken’s resignation, each two min after the other. Schumer told them what to do, and that’s it.

Regarding the senators turning on Franken: yes, it’s late and calculated. Here’s what they have going for them: “better late than never” is a more credible argument when examples of the “never” are still demonstrably going on, like with Moore.
