White House Will Respond to Petition to Extradite Dentist Who Killed Lion

The White House petition to extradite the dentist who shot and killed Cecil the lion has already rocketed past the threshold required for the White House to respond.

The petition is titled “Extradite Minnesotan Walter James Palmer to face justice in Zimbabwe” and says, “We urge the Secretary Of State John Kerry and the Attorney General Loretta Lynch to fully cooperate with the Zimbabwe authorities and to extradite Walter Palmer promptly at the Zimbabwe government’s request.”

The petition started just two days ago, and required 100,000 to get a White House response. As of this posting it has more than 140,000.

Palmer has apologized and insisted he was just following the guides he hired.
