Who is Capitol Shooting Suspect Larry Dawson, Besides a Self-Proclaimed ‘Prophet of God’?
ABC News is reporting that the name of the D.C. shooting suspect is Larry Dawson. The Capitol Police have also confirmed this.

Last year, he burst onto the floor of the House of Representatives to declare that he was a “prophet of God,” per The Daily Beast. He was known to Capitol Police because he was charged with unlawful conduct for that incident. WDEF is reporting that there was an active bench warrant out for the unlawful conduct and assault of a police officer.
The “prophet” claim makes sense, given some outlets have identified him as a priest.

The suspect, 66-yr-old Larry Dawson, is a TN pastor who has tried to raise money for trips to DC to push for a $15/hr minimum wage.

According to The Tennesseean, Dawson was being treated at a local hospital and may be mentally unstable.
After he was identified, his car was located by the police on Capitol grounds and has been being investigated.
