‘You Disgusting Creep’: Conservative Lion John Podhoretz Savages Jesse Watters
Conservative writer John Podhoretz slammed Jesse Watters in a series of tweets Wednesday morning, after the Fox News host made a comment about Ivanka Trump some viewers took as sexually suggestive.
Following a discussion of Ivanka Trump’s appearance at a conference in Berlin, in which she was jeered by a crowd for defending her father, Watters made the following comment:
I really liked the way she was speaking into that microphone.
That caused something of a stir on Twitter, with many viewers taking the comment to be suggestive, particularly when seen in the context of Watters’ history of provocative statements.
Commentary editor and New York Post columnist John Podhoretz took to Twitter to express his profound distaste for Watters:

Watters has since denied he was making a lewd joke about the first daughter, instead claiming he was admiring “Ivanka’s voice and how it was low and steady and resonates like a smooth jazz radio DJ.”
Podhoretz, unsatisfied with that explanation, issued a final tweet:
