Fox’s Janice Dean Rips Andrew Cuomo on One-Year Anniversary of Nasal Swab Gag With Brother Chris Cuomo

Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean ripped into New York Governor Andrew Cuomo over one of the most politically embarrassing episodes he was caught up in during the coronavirus pandemic.
In the early days of the public health crisis, Cuomo frequently joined his brother Chris Cuomo on CNN to provide updates on how the state was handling the situation. These interviews were often overwhelmingly congratulatory banterfests, and as such, they were frequently criticized for failing to take the coronavirus with maximum seriousness, plus they flew in the face of ethical journalism.
One of the most infamous Cuomo brother interviews was when Chris surprised Andrew by whipping out massive cotton swabs in the middle of their conversation, jokingly asking which one the governor needed for “that double-barrel shotgun that you have mounted on the front of your pretty face.”
That interview happened exactly one year ago, and today, the governor remains under massive political pressure from scandalous allegations that his administration covered up how many elderly people died in nursing homes because of his policy directives.
Dean, of course, has been an unrelenting Cuomo critic ever since her in-laws died of Covid in their assisted living facilities. As such, she marked the anniversary of the nasal swab gag interview by tearing the governor to shreds:
