Former President Donald Trump, who has pushed false claims and conspiracies about the 2020 election for a year, said Wednesday Liz Cheney is the actual threat to free and fair elections.

In a statement, Trump touted the Wyoming congresswoman’s low approval rating in her state, and said, “She is a threat to Free and Fair elections, which are the cornerstone of our Country, because she caved so easily on the Crime of the Century.”

Cheney repeated her criticisms of Trump’s big lie in New Hampshire Tuesday, saying that the former president is at war “with the rule of law and the Constitution.”

“Will we put duty to our oath above partisan politics or will we look away from the danger and the threat, embrace the lies and enable the liar?” Cheney asked.

Trump continued going after Cheney and the January 6 “Unselect Committee” in his statement.

“Cheney is far more unpopular than her father, who just lost his position as the least popular Vice President in American history to Kamala Harris.”

He wrapped up his statement by continuing to push the big lie.

Trump recently tried taking a similar “I’m rubber, you’re glue” shot at the January 6 committee by saying they should hold themselves in criminal contempt.

On Monday Trump attacked Chris Christie for saying it’s time to move on from his complaints about the last election.
