Donald Trump’s legal team couldn’t make it one sentence in before making a prominent typo in their argument against his impeachment.

Trump’s legal representatives, David Schoen and Bruce Castor Jr. submitted a pretrial brief to the U.S. Senate on Tuesday in defense of the former president. The document carries the arguments they are expected to make about why Trump cannot be impeached for inciting the insurrectionist mob of his supporters who violently stormed the U.S. Capitol in order to overturn the 2020 election.

Much of the brief delves into Schoen and Castors’ push to dismiss the impeachment trial on procedural grounds. Unfortunately, people were distracted from that because of a glaring spelling mistake right at the top.

Did you catch it? If not, these guys will give you a clue where it is.

Beyond the procedural elements of the incoming case, the brief also seems like it will defend Trump for spreading unsubstantiated claims that the election results were corrupted by mass voter fraud. Trump pushed these claims for months before the Capitol riot, he continued to do so while the riot was happening, and there has been a plethora of evidence of incitement from Trump and his allies.
