‘We Have To Be Honest’: Alyssa Farah Griffin Warns Biden Campaign’s Time to Stop Trump is Quickly ‘Running Out’

The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin raised alarms on Tuesday about the potential of former President Donald Trump returning to the White House following her visit to the red state of Florida.

Griffin, a former communications official in the Trump White House, praised Hillary Clinton for recent comments in which the former secretary of state argued the GOP has become far better at messaging than Democrats. She also raised concern about a second Trump term, claiming “complacent” Democrats did not take the threat of his victory in 2016 seriously enough.

Griffin reported from her Florida trip that Trump backers are as “energized” as Biden voters to see the opposition lose.

“I spent the weekend in red state America, in Florida, had a great time, but it was a reminder to me of this, as adamant and strong as so many people around us in New York are, that Trump has to go down, Biden has to win, there are equally energized people on the other side,” she said.

Griffin added that Clinton “brilliantly” made the point that Republicans have shown a more unified front for Trump as the former president has been going through his hush money trial in Manhattan.

“Trump says one crazy thing and people are lined up outside of a courtroom, they’re willing to freeze on the court bench with him, they’re saying it all over Fox News,” she said. “You know what the message is, even when there are lies.”

Biden has also trailed Trump in recent swing state polls.

Griffin said Democrats need to be more “honest” about Trump’s chances in winning the November election.

“I couldn’t tell you today what Joe Biden’s core campaign message is or who the…call them dozen key surrogates he has that are going to go out on TV and fight on Fox News,” Griffin said.

Time, she warned, is “running out.”

“The time is running out. We are six months out. We have to be honest,” she said. “There is a chance this guy could win if we don’t start fighting harder.”
