Fox News Beats CNN and MSNBC Combined in Prime Time Thursday

Fox News dominated in the cable news ratings race on Thursday, beating CNN and MSNBC combined in primetime.
Fox got 2.35 million viewers in primetime and 328,000 in the 25-54 viewer demographic. MSNBC came in second overall with 1.27 million total viewers, and third in the demo with 142,000. CNN took third overall with 837,000 total viewers, but second in the demo with 173,000.
In total day numbers, Fox won with 1.44 million total viewers, and 225,000 in the demo. MSNBC took second with 915,000 overall and 125,000 in the demo. CNN came in third with 610,000 overall and 122,000 in the demo.
Fox programming dominated in the cable news rankings, with Tucker Carlson in first (2.80 million; 429,000) and Sean Hannity in second (2.30 million; 302,000). The network had the top 13 shows in the demo Thursday.
In the morning, Fox & Friends won with 1.19 million total viewers and 208,000 in the demo. Morning Joe came in second with 840,000 total and 96,000 in the demo. New Day took third with 453,000 total and 87,000 in the demo.
