‘Don’t Pull It Out Again!’ Whoopi Goldberg Scolds Audience Member on ‘The View’
The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg scolded a member of the audience on Tuesday after he pulled out a camera to record the show.
During a discussion about former President Donald Trump’s bond for his New York legal appeal, Goldberg suddenly got out of her seat and walked toward a member of the audience.
“Sir. I have to stop you with the camera as I can see it,” she scolded. “So do me a favor, don’t pull it out again. I’d appreciate that. Thank you.”
Goldberg then walked back to her seat.
“What was he doing?” asked co-host Joy Behar, to which Sara Haines replied, “Recording.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin then continued to talk about Trump’s bond as if nothing had happened.
According to the Sun newspaper, audience members on The View are required to turn off their phones and are not allowed to film or take photos while the show takes place.
Last year, Goldberg scolded The View audience for jeering Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC).
“I’m sorry, Sir. Do not boo. This is The View,” Goldberg snapped. “You cannot boo people here. Please, you cannot do it.”
Weeks prior, Goldberg had also told off the audience for booing Republican New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, and in 2022, she chastised the crowd for booing former Trump senior counselor Kellyanne Conway.
