‘He Just Blew It!’ Steve Doocy Declares Biden ‘Screwed Up His Own Message’ on Ceasefire in Israel

Fox & Friends went off on President Joe Biden for his on-the-fly comment about whether the U.S. would support a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

As Biden concluded his remarks during an event on Monday with Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, a reporter shouted after him to ask if he’d back an Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement if the terror group released hostages amid the ongoing war. Biden answered by turning back and saying, “We should have those hostages released, and then we can talk.”

This was not enough for Brian Kilmeade during Tuesday’s Fox & Friends, as he fumed over Biden giving his answer while walking away from the media.

Does he understand that he’s president of the United States? He’s cast aside these statements, walking away and the backs to the press, never answers a question directly, shouts it while he’s walking up the steps. This is somebody that has 50 years experience! Now he’s finally president of the United States, he knows his words matter! Are you for a cease-fire? Are we waiting for hostages? Are we not waiting for hostages? How many hostages do we have? And by the way, I’m going to make a huge statement while walking away off mic! Stand there and answer the question, or don’t!

Kilmeade accused Biden of speaking flippantly and letting his White House team deal with the policy fallout of his comments. Steve Doocy continued by declaring, “he screwed up the message.”

“Obviously, the U.S. Government has a policy, and it’s no ceasefire,” Doocy said. “But he said, ‘We should have a cease-fire, no, not a cease-fire.’ He just blew it! That’s the problem, and unfortunately, the whole world is looking at him, and he screwed up his own message.”

Kilmeade returned to complaining about Biden’s frequency of answering questions while walking away from the press.

“Either take the question staring at us or walk away,” he said, “but it’s insulting to think that little of the press that you don’t even answer the question.
