John Podhoretz: We Now Have a ‘Pathway Between Trump Through Stone To Russian Intelligence’

Conservative thought-leader John Podhoretz appeared on Morning Joe Monday morning and explained a column he wrote or the NY Post last week that in which he stated that Special Counsel Robert Mueller may actually have a case.

Podhoretz has long been a skeptic that Mueller’s probe would find evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign and was asked by host Joe Scarborough to explain why recent news had changed his mind.

Podhoretz explained that, in his esteem, “the information we’ve got last week the first substantive narrative that suggests that something that started with Russian intelligence ended up coming out of Donald Trump’s mouth.”

He then laid out the specific manner by which information came from Russian hacking efforts ended up “coming out of Trump’s mouth.”

Podhoretz hedged that it’s still not clear that Trump was aware, saying “Now, that doesn’t mean, again, that Trump himself knew that the information had been gotten through the hacking of the DNC e-mails, but it is, after all this time, a pathway between Trump through Stone to Russian intelligence.”
