Trump Spends Thanksgiving Eve Tweeting While Watching Fox News: Lots of ‘CRIMINALS in the Caravan’
President Donald Trump is at Mar-a-Lago today on Thanksgiving eve, and based on his writing, it appears he’s spending time live-tweeting Fox News.
After his tweets firing back at Chief Justice John Roberts, Trump tweeted out about a segment on Your World with Neil Cavuto this afternoon.
Charles Payne, filling in for Neil Cavuto, spoke with Hector Garza, border patrol agent and National Border Patrol Council vice president, about the White House approving the use of force and for troops at the border to “engage in some law enforcement roles.”
Garza praised the President’s move and said they’re appreciative of the help, saying no president has done this before.
At one point during the segment, Garza said there are “a lot of criminals in this caravan.”
Payne picked up on that and asked to clarify if they have confirmed there are criminals in the caravan. Garza said, “There should be no speculation… We do have confirmed information that there are numerous criminals in this caravan.”
And––not that the President watching Fox News should be a surprise to anyone––Trump tweeted about the segment:
“Thank you to President Trump on the Border. No American President has ever done this before.” Hector Garza, National Border Patrol Council

There are a lot of CRIMINALS in the Caravan. We will stop them. Catch and Detain! Judicial Activism, by people who know nothing about security and the safety of our citizens, is putting our country in great danger. Not good!

UPDATE –– 5:24 pm ET: Oh, and then he tagged Fox News:
“79% of these decisions have been overturned in the 9th Circuit.” @FoxNews A terrible, costly and dangerous disgrace. It has become a dumping ground for certain lawyers looking for easy wins and delays. Much talk over dividing up the 9th Circuit into 2 or 3 Circuits. Too big!
