Tucker Carlson Mocks Michael Avenatti With ‘Creepy Porn Lawyer’ Chyrons Throughout Interview

 

Tucker Carlson interviewed Michael Avenatti Thursday night, but before the interview, he told viewers he would refrain from referring to Stormy Daniels‘ attorney as “creepy porn lawyer” as he has in the past.

“In the past he’s also demanded that we stop referring to him by a certain unflattering nickname,” Carlson said. “We haven’t agreed to that demand, but tonight as a gesture of goodwill we will not use that nickname, because we are always grateful when guests are brave enough to show up in person, including in this case.”

Carlson’s chyrons ignored the gesture of goodwill, however. As Tucker promised a “fair interview” to Avenatti, these chyrons ran in the lower third:

As the interview came — inevitably — crashing to a halt, Carlson couldn’t help himself. “Creepy porn lawyer, nice to see you,” he concluded.
