Gov. Chris Christie Booed Twice in One Week at Super Bowl Events
For the second time this week, Governor Chris Christie was met with scattered boos when he took the stage for an event leading up to Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVIII at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. The first incident occurred on Monday night, when Christie appeared alongside New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio in Jersey City.
As Al Sharpton, who aired video footage from the event on PoliticsNation Tuesday night said, “It was a dramatic contrast to what we saw three months ago” when he was reelected in a landslide.

But apparently, Monday night was not an isolated incident. When Christie appeared on stage at the NFL’s Hand Off Ceremony in Times Square Saturday it happened again, as you can see from the Vine video below:
Between the two events, Christie’s former aide David Wildstein told The New York Times that “evidence exists” proving the governor know about the “Bridgegate” lane closures last September as they were happening, contradicting the denials Christie has made since the scandal first broke.
