Watch Jimmy Kimmel and Larry David Freak Out When Animal Handler Brings Out Mountain Lion
On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel and Larry David were a bit on edge when animal handler Dave Salmoni brought out a very feisty mountain lion.
Salmoni stepped towards the set with a four-month-old mountain lion in his arms that had some fight in it. That caused the Curb Your Enthusiasm star to leap from his chair, just moments after he agreed to stay with Kimmel after his segment for the animals. David shook Kimmel’s hand and bolted towards the nearest exit, causing the audience to roar.
And speaking of roar, the mountain lion began to roar itself.
“OH MY GOD!” Kimmel screamed.
Then the host began to walk off the set, “Good night, everybody!” he said as he jokingly waved goodbye.
“This is a mountain lion,” Salmoni said.
“Yeah, no kidding!” Kimmel reacted. “He should be in the mountains!”
Salmoni thought the applause was what caused the baby mountain lion to snap.
“Are you bleeding already?” Kimmel asked. “Why are you bleeding every single time you come out here?”
“It’s for dramatic effect,” Salmoni quipped.
He then asked Kimmel if he wanted to hold the mountain lion. Let’s just say Kimmel wasn’t jumping for the chance.
