CNN’s Cuomo Swipes at MSNBC’s Scarborough on Twitter: He’s a Politician, Not a Journalist

While responding to a Twitter follower on Sunday, CNN’s Chris Cuomo took a swipe at Joe Scarborough and his morning show competition at MSNBC.

Cuomo and Scarborough have exchanged barbs multiple times in recent months, particularly when criticizing each other over the quality of their journalism and their approaches to President-Elect Donald Trump. Today, in response to a Twitter user who called Scarborough a “disgrace,” Cuomo said that Scarborough was “not a journo” and that he worked on a “different standard.”

Cuomo’s jab comes after Scarborough threw shade at CNN earlier today. During an angry Twitter tangent against reporter Sopan Deb, the Morning Joe host told the former CBS journalist that he should write for CNN because “you’re very good at pushing fake news.”
