Oh man, and now you’re gonna tell me that “El Nino” isn’t Spanish for “The Nino.”

I have better things to do with my time than fact-check Countdown’s “Oddball” segments, and so do Countdown’s producers, apparently.

It’s hard to think of worse ways to spend your time then fact-checking Countdown… I mean, first you’d have to watch it, and that’s punishment for ALL people. Finding an error in a Countdown segment, however, is less surprising.

Now try to imagine how long the smirk would be planted on Olbermann’s mug had he caught O’Rielly or Beck in this kind of linguistic gaffe. He seems to exist solely to catch others in similar slip-ups in order to inflate his sagging ego, it seems surprising he would let this through his attentive filters.
