Erick Erickson: Shoot NY Times Gun Editorial, Post It Online

Outgoing Red State Editor-in-Chief Erick Erickson offered his thoughts on The New York Times front-page editorial on gun control. Said “thoughts” included 214 words and an Instagram photo of the paper’s front page, riddled with seven bullet holes.

“The United States suffered its worst terrorist attacks since September 11 and the New York Times‘ response is that all law-abiding citizens need their guns taken away,” he writes. “Screw them.”

Erickson argues that the paper wants Americans “to be sitting ducks for a bunch of arms jihadists” who, per his assumption, the NYT believes “no doubt got that way because of the United States.”

In conclusion, the conservative blogger and radio hosts hopes “everyone will join me in posting pictures of bulletholes in the New York Times editorial” on social media. He hopes the phenomena will go viral, as Erickson wants his followers to tweet and post the photos at the NYT with his show’s hashtag #EERS.
