Hannity Rips Stephanopoulos for ‘Quintessentially Clintonian’ Apology
Sean Hannity went off on George Stephanopoulos on his radio show today for not disclosing his Clinton Foundation donations until now. Like some others on the right, Hannity has never considered the former Clinton White House adviser to be a fair or impartial journalist and has never been able to fathom why any conservative would ever speak to him.
Hannity expressed amazement at how Stephanopoulos and ABC News consider this an “honest mistake,” calling it a pretty big deal for a major face in the news biz. “This is a big deal,” he said, ” and this should get bigger.”
But what struck Hannity the most about Stephanopoulos’ apology was how “quintessentially Clintonian” it was. He said the excuse is “pathetic” and “too cute by half” and if ABC News was serious about the news they would reprimand him right away.
