Rosie O’Donnell: ‘I’m Minimizing My Stress by Leaving The View’

Rosie O’Donnell is leaving The View this Thursday, and she very noticeably did not address the news on today’s installment of the daytime show.

But in a YouTube video posted this afternoon, O’Donnell elaborated on her reasons for leaving the show. First, she made it clear that it was her decision not to talk about her departure today, because she had already gone through all the reasons she’s leaving.

O’Donnell explained, “I’m minimizing my stress by leaving The View, and the stress I am having at home is not as easily as remediable.”

She referred to various issues in her personal life she wants to devote her focus on, especially her family. The news of O’Donnell leaving The View came with additional news that O’Donnell and her wife have separated.
