Santorum: I’ve Beaten The View, Maher, and Maddow, While Obama’s a ‘Chicken’
Rick Santorum today sent out a fundraising letter calling President Obama a “chicken” for not going on Fox News and yet taunting the Republican running for president about not being able to handle a bunch of CNBC moderators.
Obama ribbed the GOP over their debate complaints this week, but as Santorum and others pointed out, the president hasn’t exactly subjected himself to lots of Fox News interviews.
But according to The Washington Post, today Santorum took things a few step further by actually saying, “President Obama is chicken! Yeah, I said it… because someone had to!”
He said the president lacks the “guts” to appear with Sean Hannity or Mark Levin and used the opportunity to humblebrag:
I’ve taken on the ladies of The View. I’ve gone toe-to-toe with Bill Maher. And I’ve debated Rachel Maddow and won.
More importantly, I’ve taken on ISIS and Iran. They know who I am and I know who they are!
And yes, in recent weeks Santorum has faced off with The View, Bill Maher, and Rachel Maddow.
As for ISIS, well, earlier this year an ISIS publication featured a quote from Santorum. So there’s that.
