Hannity Goes Off on NYT Mag’s Cover on Him: ‘Could You Pick a Worse Picture?!?’
Before wrapping up his show Tuesday night, Sean Hannity blasted The New York Times for the photo they used on its magazine cover.
In its latest issue, the magazine did a profile on the Fox News host, but he made it clear early on that he wasn’t a fan of the cover they selected.
So @nytimes takes 100’s and 100’s of pics. Obviously they picked the best one? https://t.co/6c0yV1lupe

On his show, he expressed his frustration with the “liberal media” about how they often portray conservatives “in a bad light” and as “angry and disgruntled.” He then showed the cover to his viewers.
“I mean, look at that!” Hannity exclaimed. “I mean, could you pick a worse picture?!?”
Hannity also wasn’t happy with the spread of three photos they used at the top of the profile itself.
“They all suck!” he reacted. “They took hundreds of hundreds of pictures, this is the best they can take? Not exactly flattering.”
He then cited a piece written by Mediaite managing editor Colby Hall that sided with Hannity’s assertion that there’s a “liberal bias.” He also pointed out that the “one good picture” they used of him was baby picture (which he shared on Twitter earlier today).

“I was kind of a cute kid, right?” he asked his viewers.
Hannity said this “wasn’t [his] first rodeo” and pointed to a 1991 profile that was done of him by The Huntsville Times.
“The media always wants to back up this phony caricature of conservatives,” Hannity said. “You know, we actually care about the forgotten men and women, people in poverty, on food stamps, out of the labor force. So, they push their narrative through photography. And you know what, a picture is worth a thousand words.”
