Bill O’Reilly Has Top Two Hours On Cable News Friday Night In Demo
Cable news ratings, September 18, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:
• Bill O’Reilly didn’t just had the top-rated cable news show Friday night – he had the second highest rated cable news show as well. In the A25-54 demographic, O’Reilly’s 8pmET hour was #1 and the repeat at 11pmET was #2. In total viewers, Glenn Beck’s 5pmET hour placed 2nd.
• Two FNC shows beat competition on the networks Friday night. O’Reilly’s 8pmET hour topped the Alma Awards on ABC in total viewers, and Sean Hannity’s 9pmET show beat a Glee repeat on FOX.
• Rick Sanchez‘ Fox News rant on Friday (it’s becoming a theme now) may have gotten him some attention on this site and others, but it didn’t bring in the viewers. Sanchez’ 3pmET hour was CNN’s lowest rated in the demo for the day, with just 87,000.
• The top non-FNC show was, once again, MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann in both categories.

Bart Stupak Will Vote Yes On Health Care: “Real Winners Are The American People”

This is the game-changer, folks: Democratic Congressman Bart Stupak held a press conference at 4 p.m. today saying he's voting yes on the House health care bill, with President Barack Obama signing an executive order that places restrictions on federal funding that can go to abortions in order to get the necessary voting bloc that Stupak brings to the table.
Rory Kennedy To Produce Rosie O’Donnell’s New Talk Show
Our sister site Gossip Cop broke the news on Friday that Rosie O'Donnell was signing a deal with Warner Brothers to have her own talk show in syndication by 2011-2012 (coincidentally when Queen Oprah is going off the air). Now Gossip Cop has confirmed: the show will be produced by none other than Robert F. Kennedy's daughter, Rory Kennedy.
