Dr. Drew Talks With Joy Behar About His New HLN Show

Spring 2011 is bringing a brand-new program to Headline News hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky. Dr. Drew, who made his name in the TV world through the hit series Celebrity Rehab, will be hosting a primetime discussion program which, talking to Joy Behar, he described as a talk show of a similar format to hers.

“I want to be like you,” Dr. Drew told Behar on her program, later elaborating that his most enjoyable TV time is spent moderating discussions and that his new program will very much exercise that muscle. Dr. Drew previously made a name for himself with the hit VH1 program Celebrity Rehab. While he did not elaborate on what topics the program would touch on, he did say the discussions would be varied and dynamic, likely to involved current events.

His flagship show, Celebrity Rehab, premiers this Wednesday on VH1. His chat with Behar (in which he also analyzes the addictions surrounding the latest Charlie Sheen scandal via HLN below:

I REALLY do not believe the USA can withstand another Joy Behar and he says he wants to be like her? Oh well, he will be on that one thing station HLN which is going down just about as fast at the Titanic did. So glad we have some stations that are worth listening to!

NO people of color ever go missing are abused or loose children according to CNN and headline news.

Go back 2 or 3 yrs, how many children of color, how many white women, now compare that to national stats. You guys LOVE charts. Chart your reports vs national stats.

THEN you follow it up with yet another WHITE woman killing her newborn twins.

THEN 2 more stories of WHITE women sleeping with underage children.

You’re racist pigs, just going for ratings!!!!!!!! I happen to be a white male, but that doesn’t matter, it STILL insults me that you ignore people of color, it is insulting to them, not that I speak for anyone else, but just speaking for myself, it is insulting to me too. Please allow people of color to be represented too. Especially the children, so many are hurt/abused, especially in our black and latino communities, these children need equal protection to the white kids. Watching CNN or HLN you would only know this as a white society issue.
