Finally Resolved? Major Garrett Reveals His Side of Pay Czar-Gate
Garrett expanded on how things go down for him at the White House:
Robert and I have a very open relationship. Now look, this White House gives Fox News nothing. We are not part of its media strategy in any way shape or form. Nothing is leaked to us, nothing is given to us. Everything I get on, and I get on the air and my colleagues in the white house unit we scratch and claw for.
One other bit of interesting information Garrett revealed: “The Treasury Department made it clear to Fox when this administration came in that our sister network, Fox Business Network, doesn’t have the ratings to justify them making regular appearances on that network.”
While this story is probably over now, the White House vs. Fox News feud will likely be continuing far beyond this isolated incident.
