Hannity and Dem Rep Shout at Each Other over Whether Issa Mic-Cutting ‘Racist’

Sean Hannity squared off Thursday night with a member of the Congressional Black Caucus over whether Darrell Issa cutting off Elijah Cummings‘ mic during an IRS hearing was “racist,” as Jesse Jackson argued on Twitter. Hannity repeatedly grilled Congressman Steve Horsford on this issue, but he didn’t give a direct answer, instead going after Issa’s lack of civility and decorum towards another colleague.

Hannity got steadily frustrated with the lack of an answer, crying, “I ask you a simple question, you won’t answer it!” Horsford cried, “You won’t allow me to speak!” They went back and forth and Hannity eventually said, “You’re getting monotonous” and moved on to arguing that Cummings should be more upset at what the IRS was up to.

Horsford insisted there was “outrage by all members of the committee” on the first day, but told Hannity as they fought again, “I’m outraged by people like you who will not allow all the facts to come forward so that we can have a full and complete and non-partisan and impartial investigation!”
