Nancy Pelosi knows for certain what everybody else with two eyes and a functioning brain can tell about Newt Gingrich from even a cursory examination — isn’t that more than enough?

I’ve not been following the Gingrich Chronicles very closely, but I’ve been an admirer of Nancy Pelosi for many years now, and contrary to all the hatred and vile comments directed at her by the rightwing dupes, she has more than survived these onslaughts, and will probably go down as the most successful Congressional Democrat leader after Tip O’Neill. (I can almost hear rightwing blood boiling and feel the daggers directed at me by the people who have been eating the anti-Pelosi red meat thrown at them by their masters). Gingrich is a bad joke who will, like the rest of the presidential clowns on parade, go down in flames. There’s no way that Pelosi would say something as outrageous as she said about Gingrich unless she knew what she was talking about. I’ll incite you a bit more by saying that all politicians lie, but Republicans are much more proficient at it than Democrats. Gingrich is one of the cleverest liars and propagandists of all.

Which explains Ms. Pelosi’s motivation, doesn’t it. Willard, not the brightest bulb in the box, fell right into it. Most, most amusing. I think it scarcely matters. I have a strong sense that Newton Leroy has topped out. He may even be on the cusp of a fall.

Simple. The American people, in huge numbers, don’t like Willard. He may never be the right man at the right time, but he is clearly, in the eyes of the majority of the American people, the wrong man for this time. As the conservative commentator George Will said, it’s simply his “Romneyness”.

I thought the “There’s something I know” locution was kind of strange.  I believe what Speaker Pelosi meant was “Gingrich will never be President. That is something I know.”  And though I imagine she knows more about Speaker Gingrich than most civilians, it’s difficult to believe she knows anything worse than what we already know about him.   

I thought she was saying, “there’s something I know” not as if she knows anything special, but as she was sure. Such as “The sky is blue. There’s something I know.” “Water is wet. There’s something I know.” “Newt will never be President. There’s something I know.”

Nothing to see here.

But Newt is a normal guy,he explained so today and why he can relate to the people. His lack of fidelity is a good thing it turns out. I guess if you believe he committed adultery due to his patriotism you will believe anything.

I have a feeling in the past she was often spitting something out that belonged to gingrich. Real emotion there when she was asked about him. It seems no woman was safe from gingrich in DC.They should change his name from newt to stag, a horny old rutting stag. If he gets in the whitehouse, it will be like the playboy mansion,with gingrich’s gambler mogul pal lighting the place up. 

In all seriousness,both were no doubt up to their ears in it,both worked close together and know each others dirty secrets. Gingrich despite his flaws is not only a randy stag,but a wily one, does anyone seriously think Gingrich has not factored in pelosi and has a well prepared counter? Apart from this ,from what I hear she cannot reveal anything in that investigation,if she does she is breaking the law and would end up on charges. 

If it’s something else,and she sabotages gingrich’s wish to save the world and colonise the moon, he will ruin her and anyone else who is involved  . Look how he hobbled romney when romney tried his tricks . 

If this is smoke and mirrors,she in reality has nothing, and she is trying to sabotage him, won’t work.If anything it plays to the  whole victimisation and ‘outsider’ thing newt is going for . It will help him in florida with a high profile democrat intervening giving cryptic signals of impending dirt  ,as the voters will think the dems are worried about Obama facing gingrich . A dangerous mysterious rascal, the republican voters are angry with their party,they are sick of being labled and mocked as homophobes ,racists and hicks .They are sick of having a candidate shoved down their throats by the party .The republican party don’t think they can beat obama with romney,they just think they will lose more with newt.Newt wasn’t predicted to pick up the female vote in SC for instance  .  South carolina suprised them and now they are panicking. 

 They don’t want another Mcain.  Newt is ‘dangerous’ and calls out obama, and  unlike romney is comfortable ripping opponents throats out. Not only that, it isn’t that the voters who vote newt like him so much, it is just he is the only candidate articulating a conservative message and is comfortable doing it. Even if he doesn’t believe it. He is just more believeable than romney because he has passion. 

Yes , that makes a lot of sense . Have someone come out of nowhere with information only a
 handful of people know. Gee , I wonder who they would focus an investigation on ? The genius that said she knew things no one else knew maybe ?        Twice ?

The truth is if she did have something she would of kept quiet and then had someone leak it when it mattered. Even then she would be investigated.

The word on the street is that Nancy Pelosi will destroy Newt’s chances of becoming President by revealing  that she has been Newt’s mistress for 6 years and that he promised to make her the 4th Mrs. Gingrich and the next First Lady!  Yet, when she asked him to escort her to Tiffanys’ to buy her engagement ring, Newt balked.  She will ask America to consider this:  “If Newt cannot be true to his mistress, how can the people of America ever trust him to be President?”

Now, consider that Gingrich & Pelosi were BFFs on the global warming promo, & have known each other for decades. Is it possible this is all scripted? Pelosi makes this weird suggestion, which actually helps Newt in a cack-handed way, & he then gets to capitalize on the GOP base’s hatred of Pelosi, while Obama gets to face the most beatable challenger of an incumbent since Goldwater, Pelosi gets to be Speaker again, the Dems manage to keep a bare majority in the Senate – & Newt goes back to being an undeclared lobbyist for government programs, peddling his influence at increased rates, & sells a few more books (including an alt-history novelization of If Newt Had Won) – wins all round, yes?
