Cenk Uygur Is Out At MSNBC, Refused Alternate Time Slot
It’s official: MSNBC has decided to “make a change,” dropping Cenk Uygur‘s 6 p.m. show from its lineup.
The network shares that “it is unfortunate that Cenk has declined our offer to have him develop and host a program for another time slot.” Uygur plans to host a teleconference with the press Thursday to discuss his departure.
Previously, we reported that Rev. Al Sharpton was rumored to be a replacement for Uygur. As of now, there is no word on who will officially replace the MSNBC host.
