CNN Makes Surprise Announcement Regarding Trump-Biden Debate

CNN made a surprise announcement Friday that the network will allow other networks to simulcast its June 27 presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
According to the network, “CNN will make the debate available to simulcast on additional broadcast and cable news networks in the United States.”
The debate will also be available on CNN, CNN International, CNN en Español, CNN Max, and CNN.com.
Anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate the debate, which will not include an audience in order “to ensure candidates may maximize the time allotted.”
Just days ago, ABC News announced that it will make the presidential debate on Sept. 10 available for simulcast on other networks.
