Fox News has gotten used to topping its competition in the cable ratings at this point, but they are also lapping them on YouTube.

The cable news network has long attracted a large audience on the video platform where it boasts nearly 13 million subscribers. Yet in the wake of the election of President Donald Trump, Fox News has surged in audience and put even more distance between its channel and the competition.

According to data tracking from Emplifi, Fox News closed out January with its second most-viewed month in its history on YouTube, topped only by numbers the network nabbed back in November. It is the the third consecutive month the network has topped the news category on the platform.

Fox more than doubled its nearest competitor NBC News by more than 200 million views and comfortably surpassed CNN, MSNBC, and others. According to the new data, MSNBC brought in approximately 153 million views, ABC nabbed 140 million, CNN scored 137 million, and CBS earned around 62 million.

Fox has enjoyed success and growth at a time when many media companies are struggling to pivot their companies back into profitability as people’s news-consumption habits are rapidly changing.

According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox snagged over 50% of the cable news watching audience in primetime in December. It closed out the year with an average of 2.4 million prime time viewers, a more than 30% increase from the year before. Magnifying that success a bit further, the network has aired every single one of the top 500 cable news shows since the presidential election.
