James Carville Tells Biden to Shut Up and Go Away: ‘Nobody to Blame But Himself’

Democratic strategist James Carville recommended former President Joe Biden peacefully fade into the background of American politics, blasting his recent claim he could have beaten President Donald Trump had he stayed in the race.

On Wednesday’s Politics War Room podcast, Carville and co-host Al Hunt reflected on the “tragic” political legacy of Biden and Carville argued the party has no use for Biden anymore.

“What he’s done to himself is no one wants to hear from this guy anymore. Okay, just go to your condo in Rehoboth and stay there,” Carville said, after noting both he and Hunt know the former president personally. “And that’s not because we’re bad people or we’re mean people. It was all his doing. All his doing.”

Carville was an early critic of Biden’s reelection campaign, and he’s offered scathing reviews of Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign too.

Carville blasted Biden for his claim that he could have defeated Trump in the election (“No one fucking believes that at all!”) and in-fighting between Jill Biden and the Pelosis.

“Then fighting with Jill Biden and Alexandra Pelosi. I mean, just look, guy — you had a noble career. Your last act was terrible. Just get out of the way. The party’s moving on,” he said. “I mean, they’re really moving on, and it’s very sad, but that’s just where we are. And he created this himself. He has nobody to blame but himself.”
