Bill O’Reilly: Donald Trump Is No Ronald Reagan

Despite Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump‘s habit of comparing himself to Ronald Reagan, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said Wednesday morning that he didn’t think there was much of a resemblance.

“Is Trump Reagan? No,” O’Reilly said simply. “Reagan had eight years of executive experience in California.”

“Reagan was much better versed in the issues,” he continued. “He wasn’t running purely on emotion, but he ran a lot on emotion.”

It’s worth noting however that O’Reilly’s own take on the 40th President in his newest book Killing Reagan was controversial, with fellow Fox contributors like George Will trashing the book.
