Brit Hume: Whether Moore Wins or Loses, ‘Republicans Really Have No Way to Win’ Tonight

Fox News’ Brit Hume told Tucker Carlson tonight that the Alabama race is a little like “two missiles headed toward the Republicans in the U.S. Senate” and wondering “which one is gonna hit them.”

If Moore loses, they lose a Senate seat and that’s a setback.

If Moore wins, however, “they then probably have a political albatross around their neck.”

As Hume put it, “This looks like a night in which the Republicans really have no way to win.”

Carlson wondered whether the election would be this close if not for Doug Jones‘ position on abortion. Hume said “it certainly is a problem for him.”
