Fox & Friends Calls On Federal Workforce To Take ‘Example’ From Trump Who ‘Works All Day’: ‘Biden Was In Bed By 4PM!’

Fox & Friends hosts called on government workers to take their “example” from President Donald Trump and not former President Joe Biden, accusing federal employees of seeking “special treatment” after Trump’s executive order ending remote work.

Just hours after his inauguration ceremony on Monday, Trump signed an order instructing all government departments and agencies in the executive branch to require employees to return to work on a full-time basis.

During Thursday morning’s show, the Fox & Friends hosts reflected on Trump’s move, which also included shuttering diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) departments and programs. Soon, the commentary turned to mocking Biden as host Lawrence Jones said that government employees should take lead from Trump’s work ethic.

Great thing they have an example in the president of the United States who works all day. If you don’t believe me, look at the marine outside the oval office there all night because he is working throughout the night.

Joe Biden was in work late, in bed by 4pm. Is he leading by example? The federal workforce should do the same [as Trump].

“It was a part-time job for that guy in the West Wing,” co-host Steve Doocy added.

The exchange came after Jones lambasted federal employees for wanting remote work to continue: “Look how special they think they are. When other Americans have jobs, they can’t find parking space. They have to go to the public parking and pay to be in the parking garage. They say that they have elderly family members that they have to take care of. So does every other American. We have to go to work.”

Offering some advice, he added: “Save up and try to get somebody to take care of home health and try to schedule. It’s like they want special treatment for everything. And their salary is way better than some of the other private sector jobs.”

Co-host Brian Kilmeade then weighed in saying that with budget cuts the administration had to “thin out those ranks.”

“We got to close the billions of dollars being wasted on empty buildings; that’s the low-hanging fruit when you cut the budget,” he said. “Number two is way too many workers that aren’t doing enough. And if they are doing more, you got to actually show your worth.”

He added: “This is the Elon Musk style. ‘Show your worth.’ Show me what you are cooking or doing, or we’ll get rid of you.”
