Fox & Friends Hosts Crack Up After Brian Kilmeade’s ’69’ Flub During James Comey Segment
A Fox & Friends discussion briefly went off the rails Monday morning when co-host Brian Kilmeade mistakenly blurted out the number 69 during a segment about James Comey.
It all started as Kilmeade launched into a tirade against the former FBI director, who released a cringey video over the weekend declaring himself a Taylor Swift fan and using the pop princess’s words to attack President Donald Trump.
“This guy, who is walking on the beach and sees a mysterious configurations of rocks — maybe it’s a natural phenomenon — that say 69,” Kilmeade said.
“86-47,” co-host Ainsley Earhardt said, quickly correcting him.
Kilmeade continued the anti-Comey screed before stopping himself, saying, “69? What was I thinking?” drawing laughter from Earhardt and Lawrence Jones.
Read the exchange below:
BRIAN KILMEADE: Meanwhile, if you talk about a guy that’s absolutely unhinged and lost his mind. He is 6-foot-7. He is James Comey. This guy, who is walking on the beach and sees a mysterious configurations of rocks — maybe it’s a natural phenomenon — that say 69. Umm…
AINSLEY EARHARDT: 86-47.
KILMEADE: 86, rather. 86-47. He sees these numbers. 69? [laughter] What was I thinking? 86-47, causing a huge uproar and then he says for inspiration, even though multiple investigations have him going back to 2016 in cahoots with Hillary Clinton and company to cut the knees out of the first Trump administration, he has not stopped posting.
LAWRENCE JONES: Well, he’s a Swifty.
EARHARDT: He is a Swifty. He posted this anti-Trump video, confessing to being a Swifty, channels Taylor Swift, calls her Tay-Tay at one point.
JONES: What guy does that?
KILMEADE: Nobody.
