Seth Meyers Mocks Omarosa’s Firing: Any Room She Walks Into Becomes The Situation Room

On Thursday night, Seth Meyers had some fun at the expense of Omarosa Manigault.

Yesterday, news broke that the former Apprentice star and longtime Donald Trump ally will be leaving her role at the White House. She reportedly “blew up” and was physically removed from the premises.

Meyers mocked that no one knew exactly what she did on behalf of the Trump administration, except for when she held a wedding photo shoot with her 39-person bridal party.

Omarosa appeared on Good Morning America Thursday morning to refute the reports that she was fired and that she was escorted out of the White House. She told Michael Strahan that she and Gen. John Kelly had a conversation in the Situation Room.

“Wow, the Situation Room,” Meyers reacted, “though I have a feeling any room Omarosa walks into becomes the Situation Room. Seriously, you know it’s bad when they have to fire you in the same place they killed Osama bin Laden.”

The Late Night host then praised GMA anchor Robin Roberts for her “Bye Felicia” sendoff to Omarosa.

Damn!” Meyers exclaimed. “I wished all news anchors signed off that way!”

He also enjoyed the not-so-subtle excitement from CNN commentator Angela Rye over Omarosa’s firing, although she did say she “wished her the best.”

“I’m not sure if you can really say ‘I wish you the best’ when it’s followed by this,” Meyers said. “When she did that, I’m pretty sure the closed captioning said, ‘I wish her the best- PSYCH!”
