Trevor Noah Mocks Michael Cohen’s ‘Solo Side Hustle’: Companies Got Tricked By This ‘Nigerian Prince Scam’

On Thursday night, Trevor Noah went after President Trump‘s personal lawyer Michael Cohen for allegedly trying to sell access to the White House.

Noah began by noting that the bombshell was initially broke by Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti, who “looks exactly like what a lawyer in a porno looks like.”

“It just seems like he’d be in that scene where he’d be like, ‘Your honor, if it pleases the court, then I’ll keep on going… Oooh yeah!'” Noah quipped.

He then showed news clips explaining how corporations, including AT&T, paid Cohen millions of dollars that was placed in the shell company that Cohen used to pay off Stormy Daniels.

“And when you think about it, if AT&T put money into the same account that Cohen then paid Stormy Daniels from, then in a way, some of AT&T’s money was used to pay off Stormy Daniels. And I’m an AT&T customer, which means I paid off Stormy Daniels!” Noah exclaimed. “She better not tell any of my secrets! Although now that I look at my AT&T phone bill, I finally understand what ‘Stormy Hush Payment’ was for.”

The Daily Show host questioned why these corporations would give so much money to “Never Call Saul,” and that was because Cohen reportedly promised the access to the president.

“This guy’s not just a swamp creature… he’s literally selling swamp tours,” Noah reacted.

Noah then wondered if Trump was in the know or if Cohen was running a “solo side hustle.” Either way, he insisted these corporations were “conned.”

“I’m actually shocked that these major corporations got tricked by the classic Nigerian Prince scam,” Noah continued. “Because if Michael Cohen had pitched in an African accent, they would have seen this a mile away.”
