While Demolishing Trump, MSNBC’s Steve Schmidt Declares Hillary Next President

While appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday, MSNBC political analyst Steve Schmidt just completely went off on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and the GOP politicians who have stood by him for the past year while straightforwardly declaring that Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the United States.

During a panel discussion, Schmidt said that after the events of the past couple of days, and what he figures will be an easy debate win by Clinton later in the evening, the Democratic candidate is our presumptive POTUS.

While host Chuck Todd tried to move on to another panelist’s take, the former McCain campaign manager decided to keep going, expressing his anger at the Republican Party and a number of high-profile politicians who had supported the real estate mogul for the past year.

“Over the course of this last year, these candidates have repeatedly put their party before their country,” Schmidt exclaimed. He continued, “Ignoring what is so obviously clear to anybody who is watching his complete and total manifest unfitness for office.”
