‘Access Hollywood’ Trends On Twitter in Wake of Roy Moore Bombshell: Will GOP ‘Draw The Line’ on Minor?

Twitter was set on fire after The Washington Post published a bombshell report on allegations leveled against GOP Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.
According to the report, one woman accused Moore of initiating a sexual encounter with her when she was 14 years old and he was 32. Three other women claimed he made advances towards them when they were in their late teens.
Such accusations shortly before the election have caused a frenzy on social media, and on Twitter, Access Hollywood began trending.

Many Twitter users have drawn parallels between this new story and the meltdown that occurred during the 2016 election when the Access Hollywood tape of then-candidate Donald Trump was leaked to the press, showing him bragging about using his stardom to make sexual advances on women, or as he infamously put it “grab’em by the p***y.”
Will the party that accepted the Access Hollywood president draw the line at Roy Moore and a 14-year-old girl?

These are the same things Republicans said after the Access Hollywood audio emerged. Then they changed their minds.

Just like Trump after Access Hollywood, GOP all comes out against Moore.
Last time, the GOP all fell in line after he won anyway. Their conscience is determined only by whether he wins or loses. https://t.co/FnAM8TK9sg

Moore allies tell me this is a play by Democrats to damage his credibility before next month’s special election. One source described the WaPo story as “Access Hollywood part two” & expects it to blow over in a matter of days

At the time, many Republicans called on Trump to drop out of the race, fearing such a damning tape would hand Hillary Clinton an election victory. He remained defiant, stuck it out, and won the presidency.
It is unclear whether Moore will follow Trump’s lead and stay in the race or drop out amid pressure — but given the forceful rebuke by Senate Republicans, it doesn’t look promising for the Alabamian.
