Beck: Obama May Cause Racial Chaos if Immigration Action After Ferguson Decision
President Obama is planning to act very soon on immigration. In fact, he could act as soon as this week. And this week happens to be the expected timeframe for when the Ferguson grand jury will announce whether Officer Darren Wilson will be indicted for killing Michael Brown or not. Glenn Beck found something alarming about that on his radio show today, and worried that if Obama does this, it might trigger racial chaos.
Now, Beck did not specifically say there would be racial chaos, but it was strongly implied in his comments. He spoke of La Raza taking to the streets in protest of any backlash to immigration action and asked, “Do you really, truly agree that now, this week, is the time to do it? That you do this when Ferguson is heating up? Why would you do that? You think that’s gonna make race relations better?”
Beck repeatedly said that both things happening in the same week would be a very dangerous move for a president who’s supposed to defend domestic tranquility. He said a Ferguson decision would already inflame tensions and asked why Obama would want to “throw another log on the fire the same week.”
