Elisabeth Hasselback: It’s Not ‘Valid’ To Attack O’Donnell Over ‘Witchcraft’
Needless to say, the women of The View (who have all probably been called some variation of ‘witchy’ in their day) took some time today to weigh on Christine O’Donnell‘s “witchcraft” remark. Elisabeth Hasselbeck tangled with Joy Behar over whether it was even fair to be discussing O’Donnell’s witchy history.
Asked Hasselbeck: “”Do you think this is even a valid thing to look at?”
Responded Behar: I think it shows you how crazy the girl is, doesn’t it? How many crazy people do we have to have in office?”
One shudders to know what the answer to that question will be come Nov. 2nd. Hasselbeck, meanwhile, thinks it’s unfair for Maher to pull this out of the vault when he didn’t express a similar interest in Obama’s attendance at Jeremiah Wright‘s church. Though if one were to compare the amount of air time spent on that latter as an indication of what’s to come for the former then Christine O’Donnell better buckle down for a witchy ride. Watch below.
