Ferguson Activists March, Hold Moment of Silence on Anniversary of Michael Brown’s Death
Today marks the one-year anniversary of Michael Brown being shot dead in Ferguson, and lots of people gathered in town for a remembrance.
Brown’s father led a march of hundreds in Ferguson today, and gathered on the block where Brown was shot where four-and-a-half minute moment of silence (in reference to the number of hours Brown’s body laid in the street).
There are various planned speakers for today’s events in Ferguson, and people have been sharing photos from the scene all day:
