Fox News Releases Statement After Death of Eric Bolling’s Son

On Saturday, news emerged that Eric Bolling’s only son, Eric Chase, had died. Sources close to Bolling told Mediaite that the cause of death had been suicide. Chase was 19 years old.

The news comes just one day after Fox News severed ties with Bolling after sexual harassment scandal. Bolling had once been a rising star at the network, where he had hosted his own show, The Specialists, and had been a frequent panelist on The Five.

Fox News released the following statement on Saturday:

“We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling’s son. Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family.”
