Gov. Nikki Haley’s Potential Dem Opponent Tries to One-Up Her Gun Photo…

In this slow news week of sorts, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley got some attention for showing off her Christmas present, a Beretta, on Thursday. Well, because nothing in politics is complete without a response from the opposition, a state Democratic party official shot back with some thoughts and photos of his own.

Phil Bailey, the political director of the South Carolina Senate Democratic Caucus, tweeted out two pictures of Vincent Sheheen, a potential Democratic opponent to Haley in the upcoming gubernatorial race.

Bailey also couldn’t resist taking some shots at the media for making Haley’s Christmas gift a story in the first place.
