Rachel Maddow’s Conspiracy Theory On Bush, Iraq War, And Microphone Problems
An impassioned Rachel Maddow took President Obama‘s oval office speech regarding the ostensible “end” to the Iraq War to rehash some old frustrations and emotions still raw over former President George W. Bush, and the controversial way that the U.S. was lead into war. But something strange happened during her commentary – her microphone cut out.
Maddow handled the technical snafu with grace, but after coming back from commercial break, she admitted “its really weird, nothing like this has ever happened to me before, I’m such a conspiracy theorist…I cannot tell you what I’m thinking right now, it would discredit me forever.” Oh if only she would share that theory!
Watch the following segment – the audio problems start at :45 seconds in the clip. After struggling with latent audio from the studio, the show quickly cuts to commercial, then comes back from break, resetting with the previous clips of George W. Bush.
