‘Really Creepy’: Fox’s The Five Mocks SNL’s ‘Cult Video’ Sendoff to Obama

The hosts of Fox News’ The Five mocked Saturday Night Live for the “really creepy” sendoff they gave to President Obama.

Last week’s SNL featured Sasheer Zamata and Cecily Strong singing “To Sir With Love” as an ode to the outgoing president, as a picture of Obama was displayed above them.

Greg Gutfeld mockingly concluded that this must have been some clever commentary “to satirize the blind love of the obedient,” because if it was meant sincerely it was like a “cult video.”

He pointed out that for all the talk of the cult of Trump, this sure seemed like a “cult video” for his predecessor.

Kimberly Guilfoyle said they were “worshipping him,” while Juan Williams admitted he thought they went “over the line” too.

“What happened to speaking truth to power?” Gutfeld asked. “You’re a comedy show!”
